The purpose of this app is to aid students in studying English. The text from the lessons from the English textbook for the SSLC Karnataka syllabus 8th standard have been extracted. For each lesson, the text is broken into individual sentences and words. The types of quizzes include sentence completion, word meanings, and spelling. In sentence completion quizzes, the missing word from a sentence must be identified. In word meaning quizzes, the meaning of a word must be identified from a set of words. In spelling quizzes, the meaning of a word is provided and the corresponding word must be typed.Each quiz is generated dynamically and the app attempts to exclude questions for words that have been previously answered correctly. The results from each quiz and saved to collect statistics on the progress of the student.
